Help Us Continue to Help Families in Need
Helping God's Children
While you may have good intentions in wanting to help those in need, it can be difficult and somewhat overwhelming to choose which charity will do the most good. There is also that little voice inside that wonders if your donations and gifts will go where you intend for them to go. While a few bad apples can certainly spoil the bunch, there are plenty of legitimate charities out there that are changing lives and touching hearts with your generous donations and New Hope Enlightenment of Palm Beach is one of them.
We are a USA nonprofit recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 nonprofit organization (which means we have provided all documents and verification to prove we are a legal nonprofit organization) and your gift is tax-deductible.
Our purpose through our missions is to help all of God’s children who are in need. We try to accomplish that with donations, fundraising etc. With Covid-19, it has been very difficult to raise the funds needed to meet our goals for our missions. We are raising funds to help house and shelter the homeless and those less fortunate. Women and children are the fastest-growing homeless population. The lack of affordable housing, coupled with wages not keeping pace with housing costs, homelessness is spurring nationwide. Many individuals are just one paycheck away from being homeless. We need your gift in order to help those whom cannot help themselves.
You know that Christ is alive and can be served directly by serving those in the greatest need. “For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in” (Matthew 25:35).
We Support our First Responders
They Risk Their Lives For You
Help Us Help Them! Your Gift Will Help Give Them The Support They Need.
We have found a monumental oversight in the awareness of our first responders mental health and the devastating impacts neglecting it can have. Most of us cannot imagine the stress that comes with being a first responder; having to always be strong for everyone else, having to give reassurance to the person in need “that everything is going to be ok,” being the person that won’t leave your side amidst a crisis. This pressure can be immense, and we want to help support these heroes.
We want to offer our first responders the help and support they need if they are silently struggling and fighting just to make it through another day. Millions of people silently struggle and never get the help they need, but this neglect towards mental health has dire consequences. According to the CDC, suicide was one of the top 10 leading causes for death in 2017. Mental health conditions also have been linked to severe long-term illness such as stroke, type 2 diabetes, and even heart disease which the CDC indicated was the number one leading cause for death. If millions of civilians are affected by mental health, one can only imagine the struggles our first responders face.
This neglect of mental health is a common problem in the world today. With our lives consumed by responsibilities, with pressures to pay our bills, make sure mouths are fed, and progress our careers, our mental health becomes non-essential. Our physical health, our sleeping patterns, our success in life, even the mental health of those closest to us are all affected by our own mental health, and the same situation applies to our first responders. Mental health is the foundation of our entire being, impacting us 24/7. With one in five adults and 17% of youth struggling with some form of a mental health condition according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, something needs to change. Too many people silently struggle and too many lives are lost to this terrible, and preventable tragedy. We want to help make that change. Mental health is a subject near and dear to our hearts as we have personally felt the devastation and impacts neglecting it can have on so many lives.
To take action, we have teamed up with Hope Health & Wellness to help first responders deal with the mental stresses they endure on a daily basis. We have found that many of our first responders are not getting the help they truly need due to high insurance deductibles. These insurance deductibles can range from $100.00 to $5000.00 which is an out of pocket expense due at time of visit. It is already difficult for our first responders to make time for these incredibly important appointments, and these out of pocket expenses only add to their struggle of getting the help they truly need. With your gift we can help to pay these deductibles so they can get the care and mental health support they deserve!
Your contribution will also allow us to continue to spread awareness of this incredibly important topic and we can help to support those who serve and protect us.
The Hope Health and Wellness Center offers different services to help with mental health such as Brain Mapping. This comprehensive care can help with PTSD, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, ADD/ADHD, addiction, chronic pain, concussion/head injuries, memory issues, OCD and Sleep Issues such as nightmares and insomnia.
Your gift that is tax-deductible by law will help our first responders get the treatment they so badly need and deserve. The total cost is $2200 per each first responder, the services include Brain Mapping (Adaptive and Congnitive testing and 8 near-stimulation treatment sessions.)
We Thank You in advance for your gift and helping us put our First Responders First! May God Bless You.
We Support Victims of Emotional Abuse
Do You Feel Alone?
Millions of people silently struggle to “tough it out” and just make it through another day. Many people are suffering from the effects of bullying and the depression and anxiety it has caused them. According to the CDC, suicide was one of the top 10 leading causes for death in 2017. Stories about bullied teens taking their own lives are too numerous to ignore.
Studies have shown that bullying aggravates depression and increases suicide risk for both the victim and the perpetrator.
When kids who are at risk for suicide because of depression or other mental health issues are bullied, the results can be disastrous. Even relatively well-adjusted kids that are bullied can become depressed and contemplate suicide.
We have found that it is not just children & teens that are being bullied, even as an adult you can be bullied. Adult bullying can come in more discrete forms such as workplace bullying, cyber bullying, verbal bullying, passive-aggressive or covert bullying etc. As adults we carry a lifetime of emotional baggage which can play a negative roll in our life and with our health such as insomnia, OCD, PTSD, anxiety & depression. Adults find it embarrassing and a sign of weakness to report being bullied or asking for help.
We offer support by working with the victim to them overcome these negative emotions. We teach them techniques that will help rebuild their self-confidence, help them change unhealthy behavior patterns which have led them to making unhealthy life choices. We help pinpoint their negative emotions and help them release them and replace them with positive ones. We teach them "best practices" to removing themselves from toxic situations when possible and how not to let others negative words affect them.
New Hope Enlightenment of Palm Beach is founded on the mission of bettering the world by inspiring everyone to live their lives to their fullest potential by being the person God created them to be. By emphasizing personal development, health, and spiritual growth, we aspire to help everyone live their lives full of joy, love, and peace.
With your help we can continue to work towards this goal! We hope to spread awareness of the importance of Bullying & Suicide and the devastating impacts neglecting it can have. We also want to offer help and support to those who may be silently struggling and fighting just to make it through another day.
What is constant throughout Scripture is that God provides comfort to the suffering and meets the needs of the brokenhearted (Psa. 34:18, Psa. 145:18). Mental Health is the neglected area of our lives that drastically impacts each and every one of us.
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done”
